The BM2 anomaly is located approximately 2 km southwest of the Jebel Ohier project area in Block 62. Based on geological mapping and geochemical sampling, BM2 is considered a satellite target from JO and is interpreted to be the fringe of the same system. The argillic-altered area was originally identified as a satellite imagery target. Several narrow shear zone hosted quartz veins are associated with a strong north-northeast trending shear zone (the Central Wadi Shear Zone) in strongly QSP-altered diorite. Channel and trench sampling returned some elevated copper and gold values associated with these quartz veins, with wider than expected intersections indicating that the wall rocks also contain some grade.
